This would probably be the last update. Nothing left to do much in this thread. Ciao!

Changelog:

Reverted to GoogleSearchWidget from the last GB gapps from goo-inside me.
Updated Youtube.apk(2.4.4)
Removed Gmail.apk (Useless app from Google- Cant even download zip attachments. I suggest you use Email.apk from stock. Attached in thread. Works far better)            
Signed all apps and removed some bloatware.
Fixed Gtalk Screen Layout
Removed Market Updater
Retained Maps framework files
Removed Maps.apk because it runs in background usually even after closing resulting in battery consumption. If you want Google maps, Just download from market.

Note: If you cannot see the market after flashing this, Just login to Gtalk and Market would appear within a second.

Yeah. You can flash it. If your latest market doesnt downgrade after flashing this,
Uninstall Market from Titanium Backup and then flash this in Recovery.

i always find it disturbing though
when i flash the gapps
market is always missing in the menu
what would that be?
i found it in titanium backup and i defrost it,
its back in the menu, but when i restart the phone
i need to defrost it again,

Updated- Not a major update, just reduced gapps size and removed unwanted cache.

I flash the lastest gapps

open Root Exploler system/app

- I deleted MarketUpdater.apk
- I deleted Vending.apk
- copy Vending.apk http://dl.dropbox.com/u/45927534/Vending.apk and paste on system/app change permissions rw-r--r--
- get market 2.3.6.apk http://dl.dropbox.com/u/45927534/Market 2.3.6.apk
and replace it

its will be any information that market is force close... dont worry just reboot your phone ..... done

I used to do the same thing(except the dark thing your talking about). I change ROMs quite often,so doing this process was irritating me a lot. Thats when I decided to make a gapps zip with all of it already done.

I have the old market but wid other ways

I dont think it would work in ICS, Its only for Ginger Bread Baseband

i can't get this to work, every time i flash this on cm7.2 rc5.5 the search widget displays error and the market sometimes doesn't shows up or sometimes shows but doesn't do anything. It's really frustrating and some other dude from my place is having the same problem. (we have the same phone SGM)

EDIT: f*ck didn't see the note you put there, gonna try to log to google first and see if market will be visible. sorry
