does this have the protection as per milestone overclock where if the frequency added isn't stable and causes phone to crash, you can remove sd and it will stop the module from loading? if not I think this is def a worth while addition especially if people are setting it to load on boot.

setvsel applies the setting only if they marked as "save" and setvsel only mark them as save if they runs for 120seconds.

everytime the settings are applied the saveflag will be removed (also on boot) and only after 120 seconds they are marked as save again.

this is the time you see the icon in notificationbar.

btw. the new version is on the market ;)

new feature:
when i set my defy to 300mhz while screen is off then when a phonecall is incoming the defy is so slow that it takes ages for the screen to go on....
sometime it takes 2-3 ring befor i can answer the call

so setvsel set it to maximum speed on phoneringing befor the screen is on!!

very nice indeed, not been using it to now, was just doing it my old way, but like the fact that you can do away with milestone OC and set cpu

how about an option like set cpu where you can scale down to say vsel 2 when you battery drops to below a certain level ie settings are 300/600/900 and when battery gets to less than 40% it scales down to max 600?

Agree. It would be REALLY great if there is a new fuction of that.
Then we can uninstall setcpu app and save more ram.:)

Hello, i can't download Setvsel on market : "the requested item was not found".
An idea ?

I would expect due to your region you don't have access to all apps as it works for me, try one of the market enabling apps such as "market enabler" (google it) and that will allow you to fake your location and gets access to all apps.

its def something to do with region or something as I can still use the QR (via neoreader) and search on market for it. I would post the apk for you, but, I won't as I'm sure now Inteks has put it on the market, he want's all the traffic through there

works great.

how about a table on initial post with sample settings of users that were posted in this thread so far?

this would help people to get an idea what values are possible.

as a feature enhancement i could think of some customizable profiles like
profile1: "performance"
profile2: "battery life"
profile3: "balanced"
