Hello ALL!
I have problem with my Atrix. I've read a lot of threads... but now I really need expert opinion.

1) I tried to use RDS Lite 5.3.1 to reprogram my Moto with sbf (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1125944) file taking into account HOW TO FLASH A SBF: on the first page of this thread. I have 4.5.91 version (I bought my phone about mounth ago in amazon). I put my device in RSD Protocol Mode, but RSD Lite did not see my phone.
what could be a reason? what could I do?

2) I tried another mode: BP HW Bypass RSD
There was message on the phone screen:
" BP HW Bypass RSD
Starting USB3 Hardware Bypass RSD Mode
BP switched to RSD mode"
in this case RSD Lite see my Motorola
(
Bootload Version v0x00110
Phone type: Production (30098D9D3030313430310810060B)

Model
Flash MDM6600
)
I tried to flash with sbf file Atrix 4G - US MB860

Branding: AT&T US
Version: 4.5.91 NO DOWNGRADE
Android Version: 2.3.4 NEW!
Bootloader Version: N/A
Webtop version: N/A
Requires RSD Lite 5.0.0
Requires Moto Android (De)packer 1.3 to edit.

Firsly I renamed 1FF-olympus-user-2.3.4-4.5.91-110625-release-keys-signed-ATT-US-GAS_NA_OLPSGBATTSPE_P011.sbf to 1FF.sbf. Pressed start. After fisrt task went to 100% had Error:
"Status:
Failed flashing process. Phone(0000)Phone is not compatible with multi-interface super file (0x703B; phone connected)".

3) Android recovery mode doesn't work. After standard procedure, I had message on the phone screen:
" Android recovery
Failed to boot 2"

Do you need any additional information?
Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you in advance, Oleksandr

Do you have the drivers installed on your pc for the phone?

Also, what are you trying to do?
If you are trying to get back to stock and do not have a unlocked bootloader, then try the factory reset, under settings.
If you are trying to get back to stock, and you have a unlocked bootloader, install CWM Recovery (Rom's Racers version), and then just flash the 2.3.4 fruitcake.

Hello,
Swiftks, thank you for reply!

Yes, I installed drivers (Motorola Driver Installer, Motorola Software Update are installed on my PC).

The problem is that my phone does not work - after turning on there is red Moto logo on the screen and Android does not start up. Also I could not do External Hard Reset (please see 3) in my previous post ) Actually I want make my phone alive ))) that's all )))

I tried to flash with RSD Lite (.sbf file) but Soft did not see my Atrix in the "Starting RSD protocol support mode" (when turning on I pressed power button anf Volume up).
RSD Lite see my Atrix in another mode: BP HW Bypass RSD

Do you need any additional information?
Thank you!

First thing you should do is update to 2.3.4... if OTA isn't available in your area, then unlock bootloader and flash a custom ROM.

OK fine, OTA isn't available in germany, the atrix says, the installed software is up to date :(

So i will have to unlock and then flash any custom rom , without update to 2.3.4 first?

greetings.

If you unlock your bootloader, you can flash a 2.3.4 based rom, without actually updating to 2.3.4.... since the ROM contains everything that is needed.

See the pudding / IHOP thread in the dev section for bootloader unlocking info.

Help required to boot my Atrix 4g

Hello Senior,

As I bought Atrix 4G from US AT & T with soft unlocked condition. The seller given some guidance(paper) to boot the device using nvflash and mod cable.

But, that guidance is not enough to proceed. So, kindly give me the very detailed method to boot the device(very detailed). Bcz, I am beginner.

following details might help u to guide.
1) My Desktop OS is Windows7 32bit
2) I dont have mod cable with me and in my country(India)
3) At present my device showing message "SVF ........failed to boot 0x1000 Entering to nvflash recovery mode" while switch on and within 2seconds it turns off automatically.(I am not seeing any other screen in my device)

What it means(item no.3)?

If possible help me to see the original atrix screen and use of that.

If u want any more details kindly give me a mail.

Please help me to have

ClockWorkMod storage

Where should I store the backup for ClockWorkMod? on the external SD card or internal? will it erase all the backup when I do a wipe using the recovery mode?

Your choice as to where... I prefer external, just in case something happens to phone. An no, backup shouldn't be erased if you do a data wipe/factory reset.

I own a me860 model, and when i tried to unlock the bootloader, it couldn't find the os to boot up after the process, is it normal?

From what I know, roms CAN contain the /recovery partition, and I'm pretty sure that I've read that some actually does this (I think that this was some beta rom or something not userfriendly though). Most of the ROMs if not all will not touch this, but be sure to read all the info about the ROM and try to skim trough some comments.
