Sure, I came from lineageos 19.1.
1. downloaded and install from fastboot this recovery (3.7.0)
https://sourceforge.net/projects/recovery-for-xiaomi-devices/files/lmi/
2. installed latest Xiaomi rom (don't know if this step is really necessary) then boot system then to recovery again

Some details:
No need to reinstall the firmware if you install the rom(same version) and vice versa.
After formatting the data, reboot to Twrp.
why rebooting to twrp after formating data? Im asking because I rebooted system and everything seems fine
If you format the data, it erases your data and creates a new partition if necessary, note that this is displayed on the TWRP after formatting.
Wipe/Format data/type yes/reboot TWRP/flash rom
The "Long press on fingerprint sensor to unlock device" is not working for me. (and to unlock my phone i need to turn on the screen and then use the fingerprint)

I keep getting bootloop. Flashed the recovery, sideloaded the miui firmware and then the pe. What am i doing wrong?

Few bugs I found:
1. Pixel launcher is draining my battery, does it supposed to be like that? Overall I get less battery then lineageos 19, maybe its the cause. (attached image)
2. Laggy animation of opening and closing apps at random times.
3. Google assistant sometimes bugged, for example when requesting to detect a song for a few times she says she can't help but when the request is typed all seems to work fine for some reason.
Request:
1. Can we have an option to get rid of the black bar underneath the keyboard when using full gesture mode? I don't want to root my device just for that.

EDIT: there is also heating issue on regular use, phone gets hot for no reason.

4. Format cache by "Wipe" > "Advanced Wipe" > Select "Cache", Swipe.
