I wish I could get the GPS to function on this rom, or any other international rom.
I installed the Rom and so far everything works, just had couple of reboots during updates of install of app restore from playstore, does the Radio app work by any chance?

GPS works well, make sure you have MJ9 modem firmware installed using windows odin and not mobile odin,also use Philz clockworkmod, and also make sure to wipe all including internal SD before your install

Had a few reboots after intermittent freezing. .foreclosed applications after updating in Google play. .tried calling ..typed phone number. .hit call (send) and number would just dissappear. .three minutes later it called that person. ..love the look. .Hotspot works. .hit the radio button. I don't have headsets so I couldn't use. I installed the s5 build prop. .not sure if I should of done that. I checked it during aroma install

That's weird, it works on mine. And my phone is just like yours, it also hates the international base.
But my GPS is working fine, it got a lock in like 15 seconds. Did you do a full wipe?

After flashing, my N2 has been stuck on the Samsung splash/boot screen with stars glowing etc. How long should I see this animation for after flashing?

I was using the R3D build from the other thread without issues .... except that the last build doesn't support dock audio. Figured I would give this a try.
No go at all. Wiped and formatted everything under the sun 5 times over. Can't get past the samsung logo. Tried installing the zip with different UI options, not installing some apps, wipe before/after/left/right.
Longest I let it sit at the samsung logo was ~25 mins. And that was because it was dinner time
.... phone was hot so I am assuming its stuck in a loop of sorts.
Backed out down to Jett Rom to get my dock audio back.
S5 features are nice, hopefully the quirks get ironed out of these 4.4 builds.

Full wipe. Formatted everything. Ran it with 3 different custom installers. Done the gps fix link below.

I had a gps signal for about 15 minutes. After reboot it was like it disappeared. I been custom rom flashing for a while. Im running the vzw rip with full signal. No issues on that rom. I pieced together a S5 setup that works good enough. I always look at the greener side of the water.

I have downloaded an apn shortcut app. Went into apn. Found out that none was selected by default. Selected the VZWINTERNET. 4g went on. Rebooted the phone and have to start the whole process over. Anyone know how to make it stick?

What recovery are you using? I use the latest Philz and have no problems flashing any of their or my builds.

I also used Philz, everything else is fine i just have no data.
i used both an older philz and the newest philz recovery. still doesnt work
