I loved the features of this ROM, but unfortunately, it wasn't stable for me at all. I had tons of random reboots and freezes, and that was after a clean install.
I did too. I had switched to Agni kernel and it seemed to have stopped but it still wasn't as smooth as Alliance. I went to Alliance 29 and it's just as smooth as butter.I loved the features of this ROM, but unfortunately, it wasn't stable for me at all. You are coming from jelly beans and going to Kitkat. A clean wipe is a must if you want no issues. I recomend wiping everything except for your external SD. Also, I'm pretty sure OP recommends using latest philz touch recovery. Itried with latest TWRP and kept bootlooping. I switchedn to philz and then got it to work. You also have to be on at least MJ9 or higher to get to work right.Thank you, on build#JZO54K.1605VRAMC3, Perseus 3.0.36 alpha35 Kernel Android vs
4.1.2 Jelly Beans 19 plz give me THE OK to clean&wipe or do I go back to stock for clean install to try DN3, Thank you Thank you

Hi there. My issue is I have the 3g icon and CDMA/LTE is selected. However, I didn't select the S5 build prop option upon install. Any ideas on how to fix this after the fact if it is indeed the issue?Hey L8, can you look into the build prop for dn3?
I dont know much so you should back up your build prop. Hell if this doesnt work just reflash a fresh copy...
first here is what worked but didnt stick...
1) in aroma i didnt click the use s5 build prop. So this build prop is for the nd3 note. Booted up without any data. Used apn shortcut app (download from google play store) and found that the VZWINTERNET was not checked. Checked it. Still no data. Went into it and saw the apn settings and ports etc. Went out without changing anything and data popped up. Rebooted and no data. Had to go into apn settings and click on VZWINTERNET (where you see ports and shiet) and exited in order for data to work.
Here was what i did to get data to work and stick!!!
1) in aroma i used the s5 build prop. (there was an option to check this)
Booted the phone and had only CDMA (only 3g). Used root explorer and went to /system/build.prop Edited the line to enable LTE and CDMA.
telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice=0 to telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice=1
Saved and exited.
Rebooted phone. Went into settings>More Networks>Mobile Networks> Then i changed the network mode to CDMA/LTE/EDVO
Used apn shortcup app. Click on VZWINTERNET then exited. 4g went on. Rebooted.
And had 4g data ever since even after reboot.
I had this at first as well, until I installed the most recent version of TWRP. Then the ROM installed, but never booted for me.Ok guys, gonna need some help. I can't get this rom to install. I've tried installing it using both TWRP and CWMR. I did verify the md5 and it does match so that couldn't be a problem. While in the recovery trying to install the ROM its telling me something like "Rom not installed, package could not be opened".
Any ideas?
Thanks guys![]()
Yea man, been having problems with this thing lately as it is. But anyway, I finally got mine to install. Ended up having to roll all the way back to TWRP 2.6.3.2. See HERE. Thanks @anaya1213I had this at first as well, until I installed the most recent version of TWRP. Then the ROM installed, but never booted for me.
