If you can get into fastboot, have you tried to flash the fastboot ROM? I can see from the console output that you are able to get into fastboot and your device also being successful detected by your computer

I have read and understand the steps discussed here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/how-to/guide-complex-ota-update-magisk-rooted-t3688175. But this isn't a full backup.

Hi, don't know your device-status, but take for flashing Moto-firmware 'mfastboot' commands!!

download "mfastboot.zip" extract it to your ADB folder and flash the Moto-firmware by using 'mfastboot'!!!

Nowadays fastboot and mfastboot are same thing. Once upon time, mfastboot was used but nowadays fastboot works same as mfastboot

And if im on npn25.137-78-4 versión but can only find earlier verions of this firmware. Would it be ok to flash the earlier firmware but, without the fastboot flash partition gpt.bin

Yes, that'll work.
Flash twrp in phone, copy the ROM zip into sdcard and flash it

Hi. I flashed TWRP into the phone. I had already copied the ROM zip file to the memory card.

When "Recovery mode" was selected as soon as I flashed TWRP, the phone did not boot into TWRP as always.

What other options do I have now?

Have you tried using the button combo to get into recovery? Or from fastboot, you can also boot into recovery by copying the recovery into fastboot folder and then typing in the console "fastboot boot <recovery img name>.img and then try to flash the zip

Recently i have hardbricked my device and made my g5 plus(XT1686) to come back to life using blankflash(albus) and flashed moto Z play's recovery , gtp, bootloader (thanks for developers)and then i flashed twrp and used debloadted stock rom to use the device and every thing works fine now(thanks for developers). due some issues i have installed lineage OS 14.1 custom rom. but now i wanted to re-lock my phone bootloader is a chance to do it right now .

Here is the output I got. Of course, the response was same. My didn't boot up this time as well. But, could you please see the following output and suggest any changes to be done in the process to bring back my phone.

And a good rule of thumb with Moto stock images, perform a factory reset in the stock recovery before flashing. It usually doesn't matter, but it can make a difference when your userdata is wacked out (which yours appears to be).

Did you flash a Latin America ROM at one time? You getvar output shows you have LA firmware on a Indian device... Are you flashing the correct firmware image?
