thanks for posting , spb works awsome, the only bug i have right now is with the TouchFlo3d but hopefully when a panle is made for it it will be gone.
to get rid of bugs like freezing when u push X button i installed the new R3A panel manager and also activex development notice if your rom is 1st version (not updated) you will have problem with new panel manager (just simply upgrade the system to R2A and it will be resolved).
that what i thought also in the first place..so installed in the new panel manager...work fine for awhile but after extensive usage on the Spb Shell..the freezing problem returns.....think will wait for the offical release

un-intuitive interface, huge memory drain (and then battery, I think), same fuc*ing uncustomizable format (oh yeah, sounds good to unzip crappy possword protected file and cut/paste bmps...) , POORLY SLOW landscape switching (ok... only a beta...) and still no api for external program handling

imho this suck as 2.0 does, i had my best proposal but i'm very disappointed :(

My Favorite Windows Mobile Shell

I'm using SPB Mobile shell 3 for a few days now and I love it.
I received a pre-release but it's just stable and fast.

When you compare it to TouchFlo - it may seem less fancy but the speed is so much better, you never have to wait, no lags, it's very responsive.

I love it.
Just published a full review of it in my blog in case you are interested:

Is there any way to use today screen plugins inside Mobile Shell 3? I would like to have the information from G-Alarm and SPB Wireless Monitor displayed on the screen...

I've just downloaded the trial - no word of a panel unfortunately. Also the final version does not seem to be hardware accelerated.....

awesome...i havent tried the trial version because of the x panel issue and such, but since its looking good i'll download it first thing in the morning tomorrow.

questions from me, so its not a today plugin? does it just take over the today screen? and is it safe to uninstall it? and last, do i install into internal or external memory?

sorry for lots of question...im just bit cautious, im one of those people who doesn't like the idea of hard reset :p

cheers guys
