[UPDATED][RECOVERY] [gta4lwifi] [SM-T500] Sky Hawk Recovery Project 3.1 [06-24-2022]

Skyhawk installed ok on my Magisk rooted T-500 (with TWRP installed) but after booting into Skyhawk and decryting data it doesn't appear decrypted.
When I run the decryption tweak it says "Done! Updating partition details...
Failed to mount '/odm' (Not such file or directory) done. "

And so far I have not been able to get any type of backup without multiple errors. TWRP was working fine to backup except for encrypted data.

When using the file manager in Skyhawk to look in /data/data it is all scrambled to I assume it has not been decrypted.

Backup always ends with error: 'createTarFork( ) process ended with error: 255
Backup Failed. Cleaning Backup Folder.

Do a format in SkyHawk, install 'multidisabler-samsung-3.1.zip' in SkyHawk, and then boot back into your OS. Then boot back into SkyHawk recovery and you will notice that the filesystem is no longer encrypted. The multi-disabler will prevent the FS from being encrypted.

Thanks - I thought it might need to be formatted but was trying to avoid that. Was aware of the multidisabler-samsung-3.1.zip but wasn't clear if that was needed. I'll update in a bit on how this works out. Cheers

That didn't work out so well. I now have an unbootable device with this error: Only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed (vbmeta)
Security error: This device has been flashed with unauthorized software and is locked . Call your mobile operator for addiitional support. Please note that repair/return for this issue may have additional cost.

I'm booted and rerooting - starting all over. But why did the routine above with disabler result in this locked tablet problem? I won't try that again until I can get what info is needed to prevent that issue. I still want to be able to decrypt data so it can be backed up.

I will work on updating this recovery... I have recently updated my regular TWRP... yah the page fastboot doesnt exist so I had to create it and make a fastboot page.... I havent gotten all the kinks worked out but will resume working on it due to finally getting my laptop up and running again...

MTP works on Windows so it's probably linux

    I've got it recompiled, tested and it doesnt crash when I try to flash the GSI kernel zip you posted or any other tested zip. Still working on /data FBE decryption but so far it works on Google AOSP GSI rom... (I think) -- uploading new .img file -- shouldn't take long.

    I've started trying to port this rom, however the issue comes with the certain proprietary blobs that are needed... My tree is good for recoveries based on TWRP but its far from a complete device tree for a ROM... I've been sticking to GSI roms... but might try my hand at porting again...

    The crash is fixed however the fix is actually making sure you're not plugged into computer via USB... seems MTP causes it to respond with resource busy and it crashes every time until unplugged from computer -- or its random... either way I've successfully flashed the GSI Kernel zip with no crashes... just report what happens I suppose lol...
