After this hell of an update (waiting time, SafetyNET CTS fail, Bug in C20 Rom preventing update to C21 without full wipe, etc.).. there is finally a workaround.
Kudos to @mcboums and @ruszok for the solution and the modified C21.zip.

Now I'm on KB2003 EU C.21 OOS12.1 with persisting root (flash magisk into inactive Slot before rebooting) and SafetyNET passes now.

T-Mobile 8 and 8T+ finally got their Android 12 update today.

Anyone tried it yet?

Any bugs?

Or did the months of waiting at least save T-Mobile users from all the bugs that the initial builds for other 8Ts had?

No issues so far. Everything snappy and snazzy; this with thousands of browser tabs open & several hundreds of apps installed- some multi-user \ 60% storage used up \ all docs & images on the cloud.
Like the new look much better.

Let me know if you want to test for any specific bugs.

Will be getting 10T more than likely.

PS be patient with update- at several steps looks frozen but it isn't.

Glad to hear. I guess T-Mobile was strict with QA testing, which is what took a while. I'm glad they were strict about it. Saved us a lot of grief.

The new update just broke my Vanced...

The stock YT app is 17.13 which is way higher than the last Vanced app thus I can't install it anymore

The System Updater update process looks a little different -> it shows first "extracting" and then "install" instead of reboot... so i tapped on install and the phone rebooted.. so i had no chance to root inactive slot in magisk.
But today i used the common method from here to gain root again-> https://xdaforums.com/t/guide-root-and-keeping-root-options.4387977/ -> Section A.1

No problems, i have root access again and SafetyNET passes.

...but i think you can directly modify the C33 update as well... like described in this thread.

The one issue I see is if you are a gamer. Something happened that broke 90-120 FPS in gaming like Call of Duty Mobile despite refresh rate on screen showing 120HZ. Something with Android 12 has gaming pegged at a meh 60 FPS.

I noticed HDMI out feature stopped working with the new Android 12 update. I tried out some custom roms (both Android 11 & 12), and it works on those. But found I'm not a big fan of pixel and AOSP themes so I'm going back to OOS 11 latest until new updates for OOS 12 arrive to hopefully fix this.

My KB2003 EU has not received Android 12 OTA until now.
I know that Android 12 is available trough Oxygen Updater app or other links for local update, but, as oneplus is stating, that is not a recomended way to update the phone.
Oneplus is incredible!
