Redmi Note 8 Pro
Xiaomi Poco F3
Notebookcheck.net: MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update rollout heads for third batch of 25 devices including the Xiaomi Pad 5, Redmi Note 8 Pro, and Redmi K30.

Mi 11 Lite 5G not getting 12.5 Enhanced at all? Surprising.

LOL, you may be right. Probably it's merged 5G, 4G and NE altogether. :D Xiaomi being Xiaomi in naming their devices in many different ways without us knowing it. :D

Double check and you are right, it's Mi 11 Lite in China yeah. :)
So we are getting 12.5 enhanced, that's great news, hope it will fix the battery drain issues!

    Update after 1 day use.

Faster, smoother, better RAM management. Simply blazing fast. I can see the difference between 12.5.3 and 12.5.6. And we are not even on Enhanced.

Vivid is now recommended in Display settings and automatically set after applying update. I'll stay with it than.

A few tweaks like Recent shows apps protected by App lock. New Alarm melodies based on season.

There are more small things for sure.

But it's defo a nice update in terms of performance. Battery... It's a really fast and thin phone at the same time so I never expected particularly good battery from it. However, I have AccuBattery installed so if battery times will be better after a few days of use, I report.

I assume this might be 12.5 Enhanced as there is Memory Extension 3 GB as default. Makes a difference as I realized better RAM management without even knowing it so no placebo!

does it mention anything about enhanced in the notes?

Not at all! Weird. But it includes RAM expansion.

People are generally happy about Enhanced so fingers crossed. I'm on 12.5.3 still as no other EEA updates o_O (no OTA notification) but anyway I think fingerprint scanner problems began with 12.5.5 so I update only straight to Enhanced.

My battery drain is acceptable considering phone's weight but there are bugs here and there also new features like extended RAM would be a nice perk.
I am on 12.5.6 official, everything is working fine except battery, Android system usage is taking around 30-40% of the battery, screen on time is like 4-4.5 hours max, so i really pray to God enhanced version fixes battery...

Worst thing about 12.5.6 is the extra security means there is now a pop-up dialogue in Home Screen that completely prevents you from hiding the 3-button navigation if using a third party launcher.

Previously you could select the option to hide them but the actual gestures wouldn't work - workaround apps like FNG or MyGesture could mimic the feature however.

These gesture apps still work now but as it's impossible to remove the 3-button nav the whole thing is mostly pointless.

Really annoyed about this and seriously considering downgrading to 12.5.5. (Is there a definitive guide to downgrading safely on here? Please link if so...)

Turn off 5G and Switch to 3G/4G Mode. Battery usage is way better & 4G+ speed is like 5G
