Another thing what do you think is the best Rom for it.

Well, do you want AOSP out touch wiz? SlimBean, LiquidSmooth and our AOSPA port are nice. MOAR and TPR are nice if you want Touchwiz, and you can always use Morphology to theme your rom even further (but Morphology only works on stock roms)

Okay I may go off on some about SAR Ratings...but all the same, I find it important.

Earlier mentioned the HTC One does not do 3G? That sounds strange to me. The One is great.. but Dear lord is the SAR Rating high. Probably the highest I have seen since the days of the non-smartphones: : 1.260 W/Kg

Good luck!
Idk where you heard that it doesn't do 3g because that's a lie unless you talking about evdo then yes evdo doesn't work on 3g and only in 4g now which is different than the evo lte

I saw somewhere that the One uses 3g in a way that lets it talk and do data at the same time on cdma. I don't know how that would work but that may be the source of the confusion...
Yeah, that's what you call SVDO (simultaneous voice and data on 3g). On newer phones, this has been replaced with SVLTE (simultaneous voice and data on LTE and wifi).

Apparently (according to this one comment I read) this change is to make way for an expanded 1X band that's capable of transmitting data and voice.

I knew it was svdo or evdo lol just couldn't remember which one was for data and voice. Thanks for the clarification
