Upgrade Kitkat 4.4.4 to LP 5.0.2 makes Antutu Benchmark reach 2000 Points less

I love Lollipop, i love the colors, the Lockscreen messages and so on but i wondered as ANtutu Benchmark only reaches 48800 Points when with 4.4.4 i had 51k+
I will not downgrade as LP feels faster also when it has less BM points.

YOurs makes 54k? Which Lollypop version or ROM?
I had the official 5.0.2 taken from the samsung website.

I don't know but everytime I enable 2D HW acceleration in developer's mode the antutu 3D FPS benchmark goes lower than if HW acceleration unchecked.

With 2D HW acceleration 3D scores 9000-10000
Uncheck 2D HW acceleration 3D scores 16000-17000

Anyway I just checked that there's no mali drivers in the system compare to other devices and the HW rendering was default to android not in the Mali GPU

OK now i installed Resurection ROM with Lollipop 5.1 and ANtutu makes 53k Points - thats great and i love LP 5.1.

54k consistantly but i put my phone infront of the air con without the back cover. Its lower with backcover and without the aircon

Nice! Anti cpu throttling, anyway for me as long as it reaches that 17k 3D score in antutu even the total score is not 50k I think thats a solid performance.

I went from 46k to 50K after factory reset... It worked very well before resetting but it seems to work even better after a forced factory reset. You should try it!
