I seriously have one question for the Remix OS team. Why are you so set on forcing everything to landscape???

I'm using Remix OS 2 as a daily driver on my Lenovo Thinkpad Helix precisely because it lets me treat it as an Android tablet, with full tablet functionality like rotation, touchscreen, etc. I had to hack settings to get rotation enabled for that version, and now I'm trying out Remix OS 3 I find you've once again disabled rotation and the hack for version 2 no longer works. If you're going to lock down rotation to prevent apps messing with it on desktops, where I can see you don't want rotation working at all, at least please provide an option in the settings to re-enable it for those of us using tablets.

Bad move from jide again.
Wifi support problems
Black screens.
Open gl Es 3.0 games crash...
Yes this is bad...
Yes, moving from 2.0 to 3.0 was a bad move. Version 3.0 is a better OS however it is more driver dependent. Like Windows, there needs to a device driver database so that the install wizard can detect or you can manually select. A driver database will take much work to create. Whereas an Apple or Android power device has relatively few device drivers to detect for its OS setup.

Another penalty, your data from the previous install is lost if not saved. Be great to have multiple boot versions of Remixes, this at least gives you the ability to switch back.

yes google avoid the problem by partially virtualising android in another os that have better driver support.
they use the linux part of chrome Os to handle what android does not. (resolution screen switch, multiple output switch for sound, network handling) i think jide should do the same and create a linux with android in a container.
it will be easier to install and debug.and as bonus we will have a desktop internet browser.
or someone need to port te android container part in chromium for pc.
