Upgrade to 8.10.15116.125 (GDR2)

how to upgrade your windows phone to 8.10.15116.125 (GDR2)
first switch off automatic updates !!!

since i live in the netherlands there is NO official update to upgrade to 8.10.15116.125 (GDR2)
i tested this procedure on my nokia lumia 1520 & lumia 830
in this case i use my lumia 830 as an example
Product code : NOKIA 830 RM-984 - 059W5R5 RM984 VAR EURO NL CV D GREY

so here is the sollution :

-simply first upgrade to : 8.10.14234.375
I looked at : http://www.microsoft.com/en/mobile/...e/wp8-software-update/availability-in-europe/
in the netherlands i came up with : Lumia 830 Country variant Denim 8.10.14219.341 02040.00019.14484.24002
i upgrade this device with an Italian rom because there is a newer version for this device
in this case :Lumia 830 Country variant Denim 8.10.14234.375 02040.00021.15063.02003

-install windows insiders : https://www.windowsphone.com/nl-nl/store/app/windows-insider/ed2b1421-6414-4544-bd8d-06d58ee402a5

-then search for updates ...
in my case 8.10.15116.125 (GDR2) was installed directly

When you get first update (it's GDR2)
Do a hard reset
It must work because it will remove insider update info

Phones that are on .341 don't go to GDR2.

Interesting..as I have attempted/explored/troubleshooted a ton...for a procedure to upgrade a AT&T branded L-920 to 8.1.2 GDR2..No success thus far..
OS: 8.10.14219.341
Branch: WPB_CXE_R1-->Via Windows Insider app
MOID: ATT-US
FW: 3051.5009.1425.2001
According to [email protected]>users who show Branch: WPB_CXE_R2-->are likely to receive 8.1.2 GDR2 update.m

I tried a couple of times to upgrade to GDR 2 with the use of Windows Insider but no luck it takes me straight to W10 b 10080 which is too buggy on the L735 can someone help? I need to know from which cv i can go to GDR2..

It works with newer Os and Fw which i flashed on my 735 then when using Windows Insider i go first to GDR 2 then i had to hard reset so W10 preview would not be installed. Works better and should keep me entertained untill W10 is usable.

My Lumia 930 got updated to this version thanks to the Windows Insider's app. I chose "Insider Slow" to make sure it does not update to Windows 10, as it's a nightmare (tried it, I advise you don't!).
