Upgrading rooted Oneplus 8 pro from OxygenOS12 to 13 safely

Hi everyone,

I know this might sound stupid and a bit newbie but I got a bit confused and lost while browsing through the various articles out here and want to avoid repeating my past experiences (phone bricked, weekend lost recovering the phone, backups) so hopefully someone can help me out with a brief overview of the required steps.

I'm running:
- latest OOS12
- Magisk
- Shamiko
- Universal SafetyNet Fix
- installed the older OxygenOS updater so that I can upgrade again using local files

May I ask what is the safest way to upgrade it to OOS13 without bricking it and still having it rooted?

What would be the steps? (do I need to remove magisk altogether, do an OTA upgrade, refetch the boot image, patch it, reinstall magisk, reinstall Shamiko and the Universal SafetyNet Fix ..in case something new did not pop up and needs adding also)

no nice way like just applying the update on top without removing magisk & co and redoing it all from scratch, right ?
(like a version minor update style where I just installed the update, did not reboot, reapplied with magisk the rooting patch and all was nice and cosy )
