Uploading to the xoom via outside devices

I have a Xoom Wi-Fi only and I love it. I was wondering if its possible to access other devices via the mini-usb port on my Xoom. I have a Sony ICDPX820 Digital Voice Recorder 2GB ICD-PX820, which is a voice recorder I use to record my lectures. I want to be able to transfer these files to the Xoom for audio editing when the apps for it come out. I could transfer them to my lap top, place them in drop box and then pull them from there, but I wanted to know if, using some sort of file manager between the two, I could simply pull the files directly from the recorder via usb and put them onto my Xoom.
