Just wanted to update in case anyone else, like me, is having this issue. I just called my bank and while they can't stop payment because a transaction hasn't been created (which is odd) they notated my account and asked that I call up and dispute the charges if (more like when) they are made.

I have recordings of them refusing to cancel, I have chats saved and I have pictures of their website refusing to allow me to cancel.

Getting punished for being a loyal customer ... smh. Thanks again cpufrost!

Yes you will have no issues with a dispute there.


Kind of funny, I had the OPPOSITE problem, i.e. they cancelled my order! So I had to re-order and lost place in preorder line. This has been the worst preorder experience ever.

I ordered my S20 Ultra 512gb (T-Mobile) on February 28th, 2020. A couple of days later, order status on Samsung's website said "Expected Delivery: March 24th, 2020"

I kept contacting Samsung Live Chat for updates since they haven't sent me any shipping information and each Samsung support representative has told me that it will be shipped soon and that I will get the phone on the 24th.

I checked my order again last night and the date changed from the 24th to the 31st. Anyone else experience/seen this?

They simply removed any and all shipping expectations after they missed my delivery date. Calling or texting in, no one knows either. It's a parade of canned responses.

mine just got changed. expected delivery is still the 31st but the status is now "in process" not sure if it'll get here on time but it's better than nothing lol.. btw what was your delivery date? and pre-order date?

I pre ordered my ultra 512gb on launch day from samsung (netherlands) and mine has been delayed to 28 may...

The 128gb they can deliver next day but 128gb in 2020? No thanks

Just a heads up. Not sure who all in this post did a pre order for the S20 Ultra back on Feb. 21st when pre orders opened directly through Samsung but just to remind you, I had both orders of the S20 Ultra i had pre ordered cancel on me like a week or 2 later right when they were supposed to ship. Called Samsung that day and they were experiencing issues where orders were being canceled for no apparent reason. Got order cancelation emails and in my Samsung app order info showed orders were canceled. Ended up doing my business else where and have had my phones for a couple weeks now. Well about one hour ago, I got bank notifications for 2 charges pending from Samsung and it happens to be the same amount for the taxes I would of paid if my orders would of went through with Samsung. My order info on both my orders still show canceled and I didn't get any kind of emails from Samsung stating what its for. Their billing system must really be ****** up. I'm on the phone with them now. Just wanting to see if any of you guys that had orders canceled on ya are having any charges come through from Samsung. I'm livid. Their lucky i had the money in the bank. Trust me, all the issues I've experienced with Samsung this year is making me look at other companies.

I just got a Samsung charge come through today for $12.47. I called Samsung and they don't know anything. They told me to call the credit card company. My CC doesn't know anything about the transaction and just told me to dispute it.

I was just about to post to see if anyone had mysterious charges come through.

    I received a text from FedEx about a shipment. Went into FedEx app and have a 2 lbs box expected for 3/4. Then checking back a bit later I had another box with a 2 lbs weight expected delivery 3/4. Then shortly after the shipper cancelled the second delivery. Scratching my head over this one. Shipments are from Samsung coming out of Texas. Wasn't sure if it was accessories or the phone. I'm not sure if they accidently filled my order twice or what. Never had this happen before. Anyways, I have one box headed my way for 3/4 delivery. I ordered the unlocked 512gb ultra.

    I had used my Amex card during preorder on 22nd night, the charge was listed for the full amount as pending on my account activity but now it's completely gone.

    It still says in process on the shop Samsung app for the order. Anyone know why the charge disappeared?

    Probably just a pre-authorization charge. They'll charge you again right before it ships.

    Just got an email from FedEx for Delivery from Samsung on 3/4!!

    You had to use the reservation link to get the $35. They gave me the credit after the fact because I didn't order from the reservation link.
