OP updated with Verizon Wireless version, enjoy!
Thanks again I can't wait to try it outI will take a look into it if you give me the APK
EDIT: Just remembered you PMed it to me, working on it now.
Using Nova Launcher or equivalent other then stock.works great on my VS986!!
Question - how did you get your app icons changed to the more "google like" ones? (phone icon, for example)
You're right! I had instant fc after fc! So I battery pulled then rebooted expecting there to be no nav bar or status bar, which was the case! Although that's not a problem, as long as you navigate in to the right folder (lgsystemui) then change the permissions of the apk and reboot again! No deodexing needed!Ok so here's what i'm a bit skeptical of. In the past whenever anyone has tried to push a new systemui in a root explorer you get instant fc before you can set permissions. no one is quick enough to do that. So how does this not cause the same problem ?
Also I'm guessing you had to deodex the systemui for the mods to work. Am i correct about that? Reason I ask is because I'd like to get my tinkerings going and with a locked bootloader one needs to be careful
What I did was place the file in the proper folder without renaming it. Then I set it's permissions. Then I moved the stock ui file to SD card. Then renamed the new ui file, rebooted. No issues.Ok so here's what i'm a bit skeptical of. didnt work on my H810 10g. No status bar and nav bar. Permissions were all set just fine. Restored backup systemui and I'm back in business though

I am still attempting to figure out how to decompile it. The reason why this is a WIP is because I am having issues decompiling the new lollipop APKshttps://www.dropbox.com/s/1tnlvvdwbtr2cbv/LGSystemUI.h81010g.zip
since you're decompiling it, could you also enable the battery/wifi connected icons in the dropdown shade too? here's a link on how: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62078088&postcount=17
+1Works great on 815T as well, thanks! Any chance you could remove the "up/down" indicators from wifi signal? I find these really useless on a phone.
Edit: is it also possible to change size of the navbar icons? They are 20% smaller in AOSP.
