Carrier: Sprint USA
Device: htc one a9
Model Number: 2PQ93
Baseband Version: 1.0.C00004.1 @51008_F
Android Version: Android Marshmallow 6.0
Sense Version: HTC Sense 7.0_G

This image contains custom boot and twrp recovery images which I installed from here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-a9/development/root-htc-a9-t3244141)

Everything else is stock (/system) and this image helped me recover another device which I softbricked by accidentally deleting /system

If you soft bricked your Sprint A9 by deleting /system like I did, boot to download and flash this image:

fastboot flash system system_image

The device will download and flash a couple of times for 5 - 10 minutes.

I ma having a problem flashing this from fastboot.

I get the error... cannot load system_image. I also tried with the full filename(system_image.emmc). same error. can you help?

Have a soft bricked phone I want to fix. It boots up and then reboots when it tries going through the handsfree activation step.

Please let me know how I can probably flash in twrp instead.

I dont remember how exactly, but I think you just use the zip file. Don't unzip it on your own before trying to install. LMK if it doesn't work, I"ll try to look back adn remember.

stock recovery img for HTC a9 Hiaewhl

I'm using the same HTC a9 Hiaewhl. With a twrp recovery. Still running the stock rom, Android version:6.0.
Been trying to update. But it reads error when it gets to the recovery. So I think I need to go back to stock recovery to be able to update. I can't find a stock recovery img file anywhere. Please help anyone???
Thanks in advance.
