FYI a 1Amp output 5000mah external slim battery, got my N10 from 24% to a little over 50% before external battery went flat (or dropped its output so low the N10 stopped taking charge). I had screen off, not running apps but Wifi on. I wasn't watching it all the time but it went from 24% to 34% in 42mins.
On plugging the battery back in it seems it was a little under half full, that makes some sense as 9000/4 is comparable to 5000/2.
I'm doing more tests with other batteries.
