How are the data transfer rates? I don't know why but I have 2 OG USB-C Cables from OnePlus and both have lost data capabilities (USB device malfunctioned error). Wanna make sure before I buy this.
I have not used it for data transfer as of now but will do and tell you..but original data cable didnt work for me also for data transfer and always showing error as "USB device malfunctioned error"

I got mine delivered today.
this one - http://amzn.to/2eoDyRR
Imported directly by Cloudtail (amazon's private seller - so genuine product).
Works well. Data transfers are fast and charging is good as expected. Also has the resistor people have been talking about.
Has positive reviews on Amazon USA.
Here are some pics.
Will recommend @ Rs. 339.

My friend has this Regor one - http://amzn.to/2dc2cUv
It has better build quality and longer length but twice the price of CabbleMatters.

I had charging problems with the original cable so after searching for a cable online for a lot of time I just went to a local store and bought it !
It's a USB 3.0 fast charging compatible cable and works well with OP2, I've been using it for like 2 weeks now !
It passes the hardware test and even passed check R on a Nexus !
There's no brand or anything on it but I got it for Rs. 150 !
So always check in a local store !

I have this cable. It's a little tight not that flexible you want it to be. It's braiding is quite nice. But I had ordered the cable 2montha ago braiding on the usb c side stated to get loose and exposing the wire. I contacted the Danke Group via email. They immediately responded by saying send the cable back and we'll send you a new one. They apologized for the detective cable. I got cable within 3days.
I am really impressed with the service. I hope that really was the detective piece and not all their cable loose their braiding eventually.

On buying a flagship phone from OnePlus they manage to give us a ****ty USB cable , poor performance just after 6 months itself . Not buying the genuine cable for sure.

Have bought the MIVI USB type C cable from amazon. The quality seems good, braided nylon cable works for some rugged use, been only 1 month but have taken it a lot of places (because of the Type C curse). Charging speed is good and data transfer rate is optimal for USB 2.0. Well worth for 399/- anything above that and it might not be so. Might be a snug fit when you use it the first time but it becomes comfortable after 2-3 uses.

Definitely Do not go for the official one, not worth it. slight pulls make the usb loose from the charger, and the quality is not worth the price.

How's the charging speed for you on the Regor cable? I'm getting around 700mAh charging current only on my OP2 while the supposed speed is approx 1500mAh

Its been almost a year since I have thrown that cable out. It got damaged at the terminal side. I used to get 1500 on the cable. Yours might got damaged too. Or are you on custom rom? Lineage based roms tends to throttle current on temperature greater than 40C

Hmmm...
So, it'd be better to request for a replacement, huh?
I'm using a custom ROM (PixelExperience) but that's not LOS based. It's AOSP. Was using Ressurection (LOS-based) and that gave me the same amperage too.

Try bringing down temperature to 25C. Yes RR was LOS based. I had the same problem with Seraph08 rom

I would suggest, if you are in return window return and get amazon basics 3m cable. I bought it in May and its still running smooth. It doesn't support dash charge though so i am not using it now. I am on oneplus 5t

Oh. Hmmm... Ok. I was planning to try changing the adapter before returning it. So, will try that and if it doesn't work, I'll return it and get the AmazonBasics one. I didn't know the Basics was good.

Guys, i am using a type c usb cable from Zebronics ZEB-UCC 100, 1m in length @ MRP. INR 180/- since last month . i use it with my old asus zenfone 2 ze551ml charger and i'm pretty satisfied with it, my phone op2 gets fully charged in 1.25 hrs from 8-10%. Even it easily gets my op2 connected with my pc for data transferring and sometimes for usb tethering also. i sincerely recommend it, have a try !

Offline market Type-C Cable

Bought several cables online, never satisfied. Even the braided cables wore out for me pretty early. Recently got one from a nearby mobile shop, costed me around 300 rs, with 1 year replacement warranty. Working so far good. Good charging speeds.
