Well it's nice that there is at least 1 option for now even if it is a little more pricy than the OEM one.If anyone is interested, I posted some measurements on the Geekria adapter.

Someone in the P2 Accessories thread mentioned the Essential Phone's adaptor worked. Assuming the Razor Phone uses a DAC in the adaptor it should (99.9%) work just fine. Just won't know til the phone is launched.I wonder if the adapter included with Razer's new phone will work with the Pixel 2/XL. Seems like a pretty fine adapter.

Does not work
This does not work with a pixel 2
This statement is NOT true. I have a Pixel 2 XL which has no 3.5mm headphone jack and my phone says it is not compatible!

The geekria uses a Conexant system (not sure which one based on the data I saw).Looks like we have a couple of more options now. Still in the $20 range for now. They seem to mostly be the same and use a Realtek Chip:
BASEVS $17.90 https://www.amazon.com/Basevs-Earph...=1511911610&sr=8-5&keywords=usb+c+3.5mm+pixel
CONMDEX $17.90 https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-CONM...1511911610&sr=8-14&keywords=usb+c+3.5mm+pixel
FARACENT $17.90 https://www.amazon.com/adapter-Fara...1511911783&sr=8-27&keywords=usb+c+3.5mm+pixel
AirsFish $17.90 https://www.amazon.com/Upgrade-Airs...1511911870&sr=8-58&keywords=usb+c+3.5mm+pixel
@bjrmd: Any idea if these are similar to the Geekria ones? I think you stated Geekria used a Realtek chip as well.
Awesome! I like the measurements you did with the Geekria one. I look forward to you analysis. I hope it's better than the Google one.The geekria uses a Conexant system (not sure which one based on the data I saw).
Thanks for posting the above, I'll order one of the Realteks and test it!

I know I read it and referenced it LOL. I remembered you mentioned the Geekria one was not as good as the Google one but ok. I was just wondering if the new Realtek ones would be better than the Google one

Doesn't work properly in what way? The website states they had to update the device due to compatibility issues with 7.x and 8.x.Any HiFi solution in this thread?
I tried the Hifimedyi solution but it does not seem to work properly.
Sound stops after a few seconds or every song change in headphones, but phone keeps playing the song normally.Doesn't work properly in what way? The website states they had to update the device due to compatibility issues with 7.x and 8.x.
This is from their site.Sound stops after a few seconds or every song change in headphones, but phone keeps playing the song normally.
It only happens with Android, the DAC works flawlessly under Windows.
