USB Modem Help

Tried plugging in USB cable and selecting 'Internet sharing' 'Use phone as USB modem' then apparently Windows Mobile Device Centre should pop up with the internet sharing application and connect to the internet, but nothing happens and I cannot connect to the internet via my phone.
Also the HD2 does not show up as a generic modem and so I cannot create a dial up connection manually

Any help appreciated!

Even I'm facing the same scenario!

Been a year since the opening of this post, but no replies/help!!

Can somebody guide me to resolve this situation?
