USB phone-laptop

Hi phone is rooted etc all good, however when ever i want to get or put something onto my
phone interenal or the sd card from my laptop which is 100 times a day i have to to go > settings > developer options > USB config > unselect MTP then select again. then the dialogue box on laptop open and shows both internal & sd


how can i go straight from plugging in USB phone-laptop and go straight in.
