USB port issue [MTCE]

I have a MTCE PX6 running Android 9 and the USB port that ZLINK uses for CarPlay has stopped working out of the blue.
It does not even charge a device or recognize anything plugged into it. Ive updated the MCU and the ZLINK app successfully with no changes. The secondary USB port does work properly but cannot be used for CarPlay with the ZLINK app.

Does anyone know if this is a common fixable issue or tips on further troubleshooting? Ultimately, I would just like my CarPlay to work. I believe my unit has the hardware for wireless CarPlay but it is not activated through the ZLINK app.

Welcome. This comment based on multiple thread posting and that zlink and other Chinese hacks are trouble, work for short periods of time and then break. Updates to either device generally are the cause.

When I first got my MAX 6 I noticed on longer drives the android auto would eventually crap out and freeze. I think there is a thermal management design issue with the ZLink hardware in the unit, and that may have caused your USB death. I ended up cutting a hole in mine and installing a fan which fixed the freezing, but it sounds like it may be too late for yours.
