Use joycon at the same time?

just installed android, i paired both joycons, but how to use them at the same time?

Mine are both staying connected and both work at the same time through the Gamestream and GeForce NOW games. Are they not staying synced through bluetooth at the same time, or is it a certain game that isn't using both at the same time? I've seen people mention that it's possible that some games may not support both joycons at the same time and there's some paid app in the app store that will work to resolve that issue.
