Protip: The only way "Advanced Task Killer" will have a positive effect on your system is if you have a poorly-coded app that runs in the background and eats resources (Example: Official eBay app), otherwise, any benefits you see are merely the placebo effect at work.

Or maybe if you somehow flashed a pre-froyo build of Android...
Or maybe if you enjoy Force Closes...

Ever since 2.2, the Android system handles closing background apps by on its own.
Linux treats unused memory as wasted memory. Info is stored in cache so apps load faster next time you run them.
The last thing you want is a 3rd party task killer to go and kill those apps without properly dealing with their respective cache.
You will get Force Closes next time you try to open that app...

I cant tell you how many times a customer buys a phone and thinks they need a warranty exchange because their phone is farking up on them.
The dumbshite Corp sales rep told them to install a task killer...

Uninstall, reboot = problem fixed and no warranty exchange needed.
Stay away from these as well as "antivirus" apps.

All of the apps I find useful are already mentioned in the startpost, so no contribution here. But I have to say that I found a couple of other very useful apps from this topic, so thanks :)

That's great! I'm hoping to find add some apps that allow your battery to show percentage on the notification bar and others like that soon. I just have to find them now.

Is there a widget that shows all "events" that happen? Example: on the Xperia X10 there is a timescape widget that shows all new phone calls, emails, voice mails, texts in one place that looks like index cards. Anything like this for the Sensation?
