selfie no problem , portrait mode okay . but if you take portrait selfie then it will return a green picture/screen. Still waiting for someone to guide me and overcome the no-video being saved despite recording on variety of time taken

Yes video recording saved, tested on many a12/a13 custom roms and neternels kernel.
For west coast kernel test both NPLC & PLC.
I haven't tested camera module on gsi to be honest.

So I only had to install the apk?
install apk and then flash it in recovery
rename to .zip if needed

TWRP mounter for mojito:
Sometimes we need to edit/add/delete files through twrp file manager in system, system_ext, product and vendor ..
So for that, flash twrp mounter to mount virtual partitions and set them as read/write , then edit your files carefully.

ROM is official so developer isn't allowed to add things to the source (until rom source add it)
As far i know.. Zidan is Core Dev so i think he can add those commits1
Finally 48 MP is working on Pixel Experience A13. Wish front cam and portrait worked too... Will use gcam for front cam until there is a fix.Try the new camera port

1. Flash miui camera magisk module.
2. Reboot.
3. Enable Permissions in App Info if launching the app at first does not ask for any permission (Camera, Files, Location, Microphone).

* It has front camera and portrait issue on some roms like Spark os, riceDroid and Spice os android 13 due to their source (according to my modest knowledge).

Instructions:
• Delete any anx / miui camera magisk modules if there is already.
• Flash via magisk manager MiCamera magisk module and 48MP fix magisk modules according to android security patch then reboot to system.
