I found one of my friend not able to select user ringtone(any music file) from sd card as alarm ringtone so posting this.
Just Install ES Explorer
tap on alarm ringtone, you will get a pop up (app selector) having es in it.
Use ES to navigate to desired file, Done!
My friend has ES installed already but somewhere he select built in app as default thus ES pop up was not coming in.
Just reinstall ES to get it back.
