Using SamFirm to download SM-G930U-G930UUEU2APG9 USA 8/1 firmware update for SM-G930V

I figured out how to do it look at my post you need to flash the G930V CP and CSC just BL and AP from G930U

what version u using of G930U firmware, i downloaded this one today SM-G930U_1_20171101102540_mxkmnm21j7_fac from samfirm. is it nougat version or marshmallow?

i am currently on G930VVRU4BQH4 nougat version. can i flash this samfirm version over this ? thanks in advance.

You can flash the U version over the V no problem (and vice versa). SamFirm gives you the latest build which is Nougat 7.0.0

SM-G930U root

I found a fix for the VoLTE(Advanced Calling), WiFi Calling, and VVM problems on the SM-G930U firmware.

Root and install FlashFire per psouza4's guide, then flash the Fix/Debloater script. Reboot, and flash the following file with FlashFire:
Verizon_VVM_Volte_Wifi_Calling_G935U_Fix.zip

Reboot, profit!

I've seen conflicting information on it. Some say it can't be rooted, but, obviously it can.

I just used SamFirm to download the latest firmware to repair a corrupt bootloader and the SM-G935U/XAA is reporting it is unsigned and goes into a bootloop. How do I get the propertly signed bootloader with SamFirm that I can flash with Odin?
