I think I have the best answer to this perplexing problem... a GSM based Mi-Fi device.

You will need to purchase a SIM and data access. AT&T works for North America, but there are many options for Europe. I like the Tschibo offer for Germany. 10€ gets you the SIM card and another 10€ gets you 500MB (use within 30 days). Tschibo is a chain coffee shop all over Germany and their cards use the O2 network - one of the best. click here

yep. Inc2 is CDMA/GSM ... anyone know if the GSM is unlocked when stock?

AND, not many readers here would have a Inc2. I have well over a year to go on my current contract.

you can pay 20 bucks and get a early upgrade :)
I just got my Inc replaced on a warranty and they guy said you know ur Eligible for a early upgrade for 20 bucks lol I just might sell my Inc and pic up the Inc 2
