Using xiaomi type-c headphone adapters on mi 5s plus

I broke my headphone jack on my mi 5s plus a few days ago rendering my phone similar to the mi 6,but anyways I wanted to try the xiaomi headphone adapter,but I have to buy it from China and the shipping fees are just too expensive if it doesn't work,anyone has luck with using xiaomi headphone adapter?

I'd like to tell you that the type-c headphone adapters would not work on im5splus
