hi guys, i have two issues,
first, although i see on the battery menu level i.e. 43% on the standard battery icon on the the taskbar remains with 3 bars on 100% also i don't see any alternation when i plug in the charger reguarding the symbol

ok, let me explain..
i installed the cab, and i have spb mobile shell as well installed that indicates battery status..
although the spb battery indicated i.e. 43% battery level, the original taskbar battery icon was 100% but i found out that i had to install a taskbar icon set in order to have it working properly..

for the XPERIA X1​

DESCRIPTION

• This CAB will install Ethermind's upgraded BATTERY DRIVER for the XPERIA X1, allowing the phone to display the taskbar's battery status in up to 1% increments
• Registry settings to enable % battery readings are also included in the CAB

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Install MS SDKcerts first (some custom ROMs as mine already come with SDKcerts pre-installed)
2. Copy the CAB to device and click to install
3. Install any %-enabled battery taskbar icons set of your choice; a custom taskbar ehancement / skin with % icons is required because the stock taskbar doesn't have % battery icons. See post 2 for some links

DESCRIPTION

• All credits to Ethermind for the upgraded battery driver
• I have tested it on STOCK ROMs and my custom SEX1 ROMs, please test and report how it behaves on other custom ROMs
• In my experience, the driver's accuracy is slightly diminished in the upper range, but who cares ?? It works !!
• DOCTOR'S WARNING: Displaying your battery status in 1%s is ADDICTIVE !!

To "see" the % icon on the taskbar, a battery or full taskbar icons set (skin) with 100 battery icons is required (one icons for each %)

Here are some battery-only or full taskbar icons skins:

  [EDIT] (SEX1 Batt Enhancer install CAB already includes Ethermind's power driver inside)

no this can not be done/applid to signal bars

no you don't have to "uninstall" the stock icons, just install a new icons set !!

yes you can always go back and uninstall any icons set at system -> remove programs

BTW if you want the WM6.5 icons plus 1% battery icons, try THIS BATTERY ICONS

i am confused my ph shows battery power full in upper bar. N doesnt change to charing when plugged in .
It shows red bar when cliked on battery but it shows full batery in menu bar

Same thing happened to me after installing and uninstalling this cab. The original battery bar is allways shows full. Can anyone tell us a solution for this little problem?

reboot

and nothings changed
