i noticed with cpu spy the phone spends a majority of its time in either max or min cpu freq. if thats the case can someone tell my why there would be an advantage in doing a global uv? can you just undervolt the min and max voltages? just wondering.

If you're going to do it might as well do it right and not half ass it. If you literally never touch anything with the settings then it won't be too bad I guess. If you ever underclock here or there for some extra battery or overclock sometimes then you should just spend a few extra mins and do a global then get more aggressive and fine tune the ones your cpu sits in the most.

It's not that there is a benefit to global undervolt, it's just that it's easier to do a global one and that there's no benefit to just undervolting specific frequencies over doing the global.

As the poster above me pointed out, for best results, do the global first because it's easier, then pay special attention to the most used frequencies.
