Yeah, because the zip Is not twrp flashable. Go to twrp, choose install, android you should have "install image" or only "image" button on the right, choose that, and select image file you extracted from the zip file

Hey, I followed the guide to install TWRP. Just step 1, as I didn't want to root. I also installed TWRP as read-only, and then installed the boot.img through TWRP. Did I do it right? Or did I need to give it permission to write to /system? It seemed to install the boot.img without any problems. Can I update the Android version in the future or re-lock the bootloader? Or will that revert the changes?

unlocking bootloader on LG V10 UAE version

I wanna unlock bootloader on my Lg V10 H960A but LG developer does not support my phone because it's for UAE so I don't have unlock file. what should I do? Is there any software that can make this file for me to unlock bootloader? PLZ help me
I tried a lot to turn on my phone and checked oem but now I'm stuck in this part:crying:

If it didn't throw any errors, then it's probably ok. You can't install any updates, as it will revert changes and re-enable all cores

I'm not sure, but I think it's impossible to unlock it if it's not supported by LG developer. Maybe with some box, like Z3X, or similar, but I'm not sure...

I tried the process again, this time with root, because I needed it for an app, and now I can't install apps from the Google Play Store or sideload APKs anymore. Do you know how I could fix this?

Rooting shouldn't have to do anything with installing apps... Dunno what went wrong on your side... Try rooting again?
