V15 Pro Shutting Down by itself at Night

I discovered I could not turn on my V15 Pro at 4:30am Friday LAST WEEK. I suspected the battery had drained totally overnight even though I was sure it was still between 70% to 80% when I went to bed. When I brought it to the Vivo service center, the tech there was able to start it up by simply pressing the 3 buttons. I had tried using 2 buttons earlier. The battery was at 74% when it booted up. I inquired about the cause and was given the idea that it was busy or something to that effect so the phone shutdown. I doubted the phone was so busy processing anything because I had not installed any new, unknown apps since I got it a little over a month ago. And, I check the tasks every time.

At about 3:30am this Saturday morning it happened again, so I used the 3 buttons to start it up. This time, the battery was at 86% when I went to bed after 11pm. Battery was at 83% when it started up again, so nothing was draining it drastically.

Has this ever happened to you? Any ideas?

Hi,

I think it's either due to scheduled sleep in settings which you might have accidentally activated. Or is due to the scheduled update time when the phone updates. Please check these also. If any update was corrupted dure tu shutdown then the phone needs to be reset.

Thanks for responding.

My phone does not have sleep timer. It has only power on/off timer but all settings are disabled. I think even if the phone was shutdown by the timer, I should have been able to turn it on using the power button.

The fact that you suggested the sleep scheduling makes me suspect you don't know the phone.

I don't have to do something just because you recommend it. And if I revise to correct my report of the problem to everyone, you treat it as spamming and having fun? Sorry you see it that way. No wonder your forum has so few participants. Don't worry, it's yours and very much under your full control.
