Cant seem to get it working. Following the steps exactly and odin is failing when writing the image system.img.ext4 file .

Just realized it is probably my BL version being the issue. It looks like it is version 5? Ya, G950USQU5DSC1. So I assume I need to flash it to version 2?

You cant flash version 2. Antirollback look up jrkruses edl safestrap rev 5 method. Bit keep the ap part one from this

I'm using Odin 3.12. I downloaded the SM-G950U1 latest firmware from samfirm (updato is slow as balls). This is what I get when I try to flash. I'm trying to update BL and CP as well as AP.

To flash u1 I think you have to flash the combination file first. Cause your going from model U to model U1 so that technicly model changing which I'm pretty sure combo is needed for that

Do I flash the combination file in TWRP? Is there any other place to download a U firmware other than updato? It's only going at 40kb/s so it's going to take forever. Torrent for it maybe?

I'm going to try the VZW firmware next, but I really want android 9.

I have flashed W on U1 with patched Odin. regular Odin won't work because of ver. mismatch

I'm looking to flash anything honestly. It's a verizon variant. I'd rather have the u1 firmware, but any firmware will do. I can always put the unlocked firmware on it after.

Does your device show any kind of
Error on dl mode screen. Fused binary or anything?
And make sure repartition is unchecked

It shows a tripped fuse and nothing happens on the phone screen when I try to use Odin. Re-partition is unchecked.
