I managed to do it by pushing files in .zip to the device and running scripts manually. Is there any chance to upgrade to an newer version? I try to flash the new "philz_touch_6.19.7-v500.zip" over philz_touch_6.15.4 on my v500 and stuck in a boot certification verify error @recovery ????????????
best regards
can someone tell me how to install the latest philz recovery directly onto a freshly rooted Gpad?
I suggest you look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50042611&postcount=57i'm on a stock 4.4.2 rooted, how do i flash this recovery?
its says that "Loki aboot version does not match device." the same when i tried flashing TWRP.. maybe because my g pad is V50020a and the recovery that they comes with the zip is for V50010a..I suggest you look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50042611&postcount=57
The easiest way is to install TWRP with loki, method found on TWRP thread then install PhilZ. Don't forget to enable auto-loki.
I know on some configs you must wait a few minutes after the "Hard Factory Reset" screen is still present. It should eventually open TWRP...I do the button push and get to a screen that says: HARD FACTORY RESET. I push the power button twice and still get the error secure boot error, certification error at the top of the screen.
You should update to a newer recovery, like TWRP 2.8.7.1 if you don't want TWRP 3.0.0, which is not perfectly stable, as some users said in the TWRP thread. This recovery is a little outdated and it does not seem that it will be updated any time soon.Just picked up a used V500 which had an older version of CM12.1 (Aug 2015). When I tried to install the latest nightly I am getting a "installation aborted" error. Any ideas? Thanks.
