That will not work. I used my Go Phone Sim but it did not resolve the issue. So what I did is to call their technical support and provide them the IEMI number. Once they verified it, they simply pushed the Update on that IEMI and I got it instantly. What they said that the IEMI are listed in sequencial order, so even with an active AT&T sim, it may take weeks before receiving it. So calling their tech support is the best option to get it quickly. And make sure you ask the customer care to transfer it to Tech support immediately, otherwise they will try to convince you that 7.0 has not been released. I had to literally share their own product page link to them where it is mentioned that Nougat has been released for it.
