Use the fingerprint fix on post 2 or 3
The guide really needs an update for another fix for fingerprint. You can go through the setup screen and make sure to not skip but setup using fingerprint, after the LG setup and you have rooted then fingerprint will still work so would not need that annoying LG hidden menu thing.
Are you sure on setup that it works? it didn't for me back then with a11 but I cannot try it now out myself. The guide really needs an update for another fix for fingerprint. Also that ota disable thing does not work as well because on tmobile v60, ota updates are managed by google play services, your only option is to root and use super user to disable the update popup dialog, use an app called service disabler and disable 2 other services within google play service that is responsible for checking for system updates.
atservice apk displays your serial number and doesnt hurt to disable it but then your device in settings will display S/N:Not Available.
You preferably need a Windows device/VM, but yes if you follow the guide correctly it should work.Hi Everyone:
I just want to make sure that this will work on a LM-V600VM for Verizon and running Android 12. Am I good to proceed?
Also, do I need to do anything differently if I am using a Linux machine as the ADB/Fastboot host?
Thanks!
Yes I tried on verizon one and it works but the fingerprint isn't working.Does this root work on v600vm30d version? I'm on Verizon I have no oem.
