Hi i need some help with my device.
I have T95X S905X. I tried flasing universal rtl rom (i have rtl8189etv wifi) but wifi is not working. And remote control buttons are messed up or not even working. Any help how can i fix this?

I found your ROM and hope to be able to make my yet old Mecool M8S Pro+ work again ... But, can You please help on how to install the ROM on the chip from Linux, as the software used works on Windows only ...

Thanks for your great job ! I am using a Nexbox 2/16 and flashed your last ROM! All is ok except the remote which is not working ! I had already the same issue with one of your previous ROM and managed to change the remote.tab1 file in Vendor/etc/. I had previously to root the rom to have access to /Vendor as root. I tryed to root your last rom but impossible to access root ! How can I manage to change the remote.tab1 in your rom ? Here is a working remote.tab1 file for my box.

hello sir fascinated by your work. but sir i have some question regarding this rom. i have x96max v311 which ia m using and i have installed one of your rom i.e v8. so after installing i found out my android box is saying there is an update. i downloaded the update file with wifi which is around 683mb in size. but after the file is downloaded i pressed restart now. the strange thing is the after restaring my android box goes to recovery mode and i dont know what to press next to move foreward. please help sir.

I have a Sunvell t95m (android 6.0.1, 1gb ram, 8gb storage, s905x with reset button inside the AV port)

With the stock rom, I could hold the reset button and it would boot to recovery, or if an SD card is inserted it would try to boot from that. And this worked great as it would let me boot Emuelec from the card.

With this rom it ignores the reset button and does not boot from SD card. And that is unfortunate since Aidan's rom runs M64Plus-FZ much better than the stock rom, but I'd still like to use Emuelec too. Maybe it overwrote the bootloader with one that can't dual boot??

Does anyone have a solution to make it dual boot again?

Also, if anyone has a way to reinstall TWRP and make it boot into that, that would be super since I like to make system backups.

sorry no soloutiond for you just now, there was a zip that heleped some people boot from sd card, the flahed in recovery (adb to boot recoveery) and no twrp soloution either yet

Flashed the ROM [v7.5] (UNIVERSAL) Aidan's ROM [S905X] 1GB 2GB+ onto my S905X-B 2GB/8GB MyGica 495PRO HDR box and it loads, but the stock IR part of the remote has no control to power the unit on or off. Now it doesn't seem to be able to go into the Android Recovery Menu so I can flash back with a micro SD Card version of the stock ROM (MyGica did not provide an AML version of their stock ROM that can be used with Amlogic USB Burning Tool) plus it doesn't seem to flash another ROM using the USB Burning Tool as well if I depress the reset button(Another MyGica oddity is that the reset button is built into the Power On/Off button) and plug in the USB cable the OS starts loading and doesn't seem to recognize the reset button for the Android Recovery Menu to show up. Any way to get back into the Recovery Menu or get it to load with the reset button in the USB Burning Tool ?

Edit: Oh I see this ROM uses TWRP in the Boot Recovery app, TWRP will load the img firmware from MyGica, but it thinks it is a zip file firmware and won't flash. Using the Amlogic USB Burning Tool still won't work for some wierd reason throws the a bootloader error message 6 seconds in.

have you tried atv9 rom (even the mygicia one?)

Issue: wifi does NOT work.
I can turn on the wifi button but it turns off itself in a few seconds.

Checked hash MD5 - 8501e5192689f460a7179463f5aef72e and it's correct.

I installed this ROM via UBT and it was a success.

The problem is after flashing this ROM the USB Burning Tool always gets a bootloader error message around the 6 second mark when I try to flash another ROM. I even tried Force Erase, no change.
I don't think this ROM even has the Android Recovery Menu in it as it has the TWRP app installed in the OS.

Would you know which is the best S905X2 ROM for the MyGica ATV 495PRO HDR ?
MyGica has not released any img files for their AML firmwares that can be used with the UBT for both their ATV 495PRO HDR and ATV 495X HDR boxes. Many owners have brick their boxes while trying to update from Android 6.0.1 to Android 7.1.2 through their micro SD Card img firmware files and the company MyGica/Geniatech doesn't seem to be interested in helping their owners.

I am normally a Minix user and not normally a MyGica user, but I found a bargain for a dozen of these old stock new in box ATV 495PRO HDR units to upgrade some of my older S802H 4.4.2 boxes so they can use newer versions of Kodi.

the mygicia port on my rom is based on a private mygicia made android 9 AOSP rom for the atv 494 stick

1. WiFi connected after first reboot, but after a second reboot cannot connect to WiFi no matter how many tines I did a full reset
2. Power button works when pressed stays blue for Stand-By(normally red) and blue for On
3. Internal storage shows only 3.82GB out of 8GB
4. System Update downloads, but fails to install after reboot to Android Recovery Menu
5. IR remote function like Power On/Off don't work on the stock MyGica KR41 remote
6. Bluetooth pairs and works

WiFI is now again a problem with [v8] Aidan's ROM [S905X] [ATV 9] (Ampak APxxxx Multi Wi-Fi).img
After the second day of plugging the box in the WiFi is now down to a crawl of less than 0.38Mbps down and about the same up.

Is there any other ROM I should try with for a box with an AP6255 Wifi module ? Good WiFi is a deal breaker for me as I am not using Ethernet at any of my locations.

not too sure tbh, but let me know if you find one with better performance

Hi Aidan. I installed your ROM for s905x with my wifi driver and it works fine. The only problem is the remote which doesn't work. I have the appropriate remote.tab1 file but I can't log in. Is there any way I can replace the remote.tab1 with my working one? Thank you.

I tried most of v8 ATV9 as I left feedback on that thread and yes even the one for MyGica and it was one of the worse ones for WiFi. I was surprise that it was listed for both the ATV 195 which has a S905X and the ATV 495 just has the older S905.

With the stock KR-41 remote none of the IR buttons like On/Off works, but if I use an app like Button Mapper I can power it off by assigning one of the airmouse buttons, no way to power it back on unless I physically press the button on the box itself for a reboot. I guess the sleep mode is missing.

Basically i have one of these

but its branded nucleus, these come with android 6 and there is no publicly available updates available, but the company that sent me the stick also provided a custom made android 9 FW for the device, (has the same sstv string in recovery) see in that video it comes with Droidlogic/stvs9/stvs6.0.1, when they sent me a stick i also got this Droidlogic/stvs9/stvs9:9 android 9 rom that they payed mygica to make to update them from android 6, any other devices are user reports of success so take it with a pinch of salt
