Hi Adrian, beautiful work I really thank you for the great job you have done, but none of your roms work with X96 MAX PLUS. I tried your other roms for S905X3 and i bricked my x96 max plus which is an s905x3 tv box. If you can make a rom for it this will be great. Thank you
its by location, if you ran box through a vpn to usa or uk it would appear@aidanmacgregor can you please post the exact version for new home screen, I willl try installing manually on tx92 s912 device.
Edit:
I manually download and installed the home apk and services,. It still doesn't give me new home screen.
Is there a setting or flag??
Ohh got it thanks, not sure what could google achive by doing that?? Why not activate it for allits by location, if you ran box through a vpn to usa or uk it would appear
i have the FN-Link 8223A-SR i think it has its wifi and bluetooth both inside this chip.
Hey @aidanmacgregor I checked my wifi chip and its SV6051P the funny thing is that I saw that and I tried to install the rom with that chip stated on the file name and that one would not flash at all. it failed at writing the very beginning at writing bootloader I Think but I used the one without any stated chip and that seems to work. also let me know about the SPDIF Happy coding!I'm very excited for V8. Literally the only thing missing from this for me is SPDIF support. I installed on AX9 Max. With S905W chip and 2gb ram. I used the standard version of the rom without any wifi chip displayed and that seems to have worked. I was able to pick up wifi.
I forgot to note the wifi chip bit i will once I'm back home and able to open the box again. Aiden can you confirm if the next update will fix spdif output?

im not sure how this would be acheived@aidanmacgregor hello
I wonder if you could surface the settings for Private DNS for the next version of the ROM
Hoping there's a way that's possible......
Thanks for your work
try flashing over your currently installed one but unselect "overwrite bootloader" in the usb burning tool, this might work, not sure thoughHey @aidanmacgregor I checked my wifi chip and its SV6051P the funny thing is that I saw that and I tried to install the rom with that chip stated on the file name and that one would not flash at all. it failed at writing the very beginning at writing bootloader I Think but I used the one without any stated chip and that seems to work. also let me know about the SPDIF Happy coding!
well wifi works either way haha so i'm not complaining just thought you would want to know.. As for the SPDIF though. I have 2 more questions and also a suggestion.try flashing over your currently installed one but unselect "overwrite bootloader" in the usb burning tool, this might work, not sure though
V2 build is correct version for your box.
It's a long process with patience. Your remote.conf file has to be renamed to remote.tab1 and use any good file explorer eg mixexplorer and transfer tthe remote file to vendor/etc folder .But before you do this make sure you are rooted. You may try and root Aidan's rom first by patching recovery.Partition method. And see if your remote will work. As for my case yes I use atvx4 rom because I've tried Aidan's rom my remote did not work. So I made (should I call it hybrid) rom.By taking system.PARTITION from Aidan's rom and substitute it in atvx4 and also patching atvx4 recovery.PARTITION with Magisk. Then I repacked and flashed to my box.Hello Timosat, as I understood I have to find ly remote file and then after several step sut this folder in aidans rom... Where to find the right remote folder for my box? I have the remote.conf from a previous rom can I use this file?
I read that you use Atvx 4 rom to do this ? You choosed this rom because your remote works with this rom?
hey v7 is now available, most are uploaded 2 still uploadingThanks for the reply and eagerly waiting for manual update. The existing rom is almost like stock one. Happy with it, and the manual update would enhance it further.
I tried sideloading many .apk for prime video of different versions and both platforms - mobile and android tv. Even tried aptroid.tv app store with someone's suggestions on google.
However, the mobile versions did not even install. And the TV versions though installed but returned with the same error. Only trailers are able to play. Main content isn't playing and the error "Something went wrong" shows up.
If you could help me with any working apk for prime video, kindly provide. Just like the netflix you provided.
Thank you so much in advance Aidan.
