Hello @aidanmacgregor, Good job for the great rom. I have flashed the v8 rom, everything goes well but the remote can not POWER OFF instead of SLEEP. I want POWER OFF, can you help me?

Good Dau Aidan, thank you for your help. I don't know which point i have to close for Mask ROM. I saw your video on youtube, but i don't know what to do. So usb tool recognized the firmware and it's good, when i connect the box to my computer, i can see in the hardware page just for 20sec then disappear. The driver i thing are working but nothing happened on the usb burning tools. So may i attach some picture here to check where i have to use my jumper.

did you click start before connecting box?

Hi Aidan. I have a x96 mini with atvx 9 installed. The USB 1 port stopped working and I want to install your rom. Can I do it with an SD card?

it might work using amlogic burn bard maker since your already android 9, canty gaurantee antything

Guys, something odd is happen here. I'm on 8v s912 and the system dont let me install a Lot of apks, like apks or Aurora Store, i can't even install telegram or browser, in the past version i can install this apps normally

I installed the rom on my tv box (S905W, SV6051P) but the IR remote "OK" Home and back button isn't working. My second box (X96 mini, same chipset) its remote and USB ports isn't working at all

I have the old stock rom along with the remove.conf and the keylayout files, and managed to root the box.

Would it be possible to fix/modify the rom by myself? May I know what I need to do to get the remote working? either through root explorer or by re-flashing a modified rom

that is a vendor/usr/keylayout file issue but remote.conf file is no good in newer android

I try deleting the remote.conf, remote.tab1~3 as a test (on atvx rom) and when I reboot the box, some of the remote buttons no longer works.

Would it be possible to recompile your ROM (or replacing the remote.tab files) by myself then modify the remote configuration using the roms above?

You have any idea of something I can do? I wanted to try your 7.1.2 version, but can't find a S912 version, only S905x. Can I flash that version if the SoC does not match?

Sorry, i don't have an android tv 7.1.2 ROM for s912, i didn't have an s912 device at the time i was working on it

If possible, update Aidan's ROM for S905w4 to new firmware X96mini_Plus1_20210607-1625 which has a better boot / Kernel, and overall more reponsive.
