Whenever AEX will release a New update, I will try to Update the GSI as soon as possible, so please don't ask ETAs.

home button not working on the One Plus 5, but thats not you. My home button doesnt even work on the GSI that build for my own devices.. It booted up ok. nothing crashed. just dont have a home button. I know how to work around that. Pico gapps installed, magisk is working. the sony framework and music player worked. viper works. I will try a call tomorrow, my other phone is in the bedroom with my wife. I'm going to send you a PM. I have a couple of questions less related to your rom in specific and more related to GSI in general. thanks for this by the way.

Does anyone know where the hardware configuration settings is for this? Long pressing my home button opens up recents instead of Assistant and Ive done a search and cant find the hardware buttons option at all.

Good news! At the time of this development, the official AOSP Extended Rom did not yet have a generic treble rom for folks to pick from. Which is likely why the developer here felt the need to make one. However, there is now an official generic table rom for AOSP Extended which can be found on their website here https://downloads.aospextended.com/treble_gsi

I am currently testing this with a Moto X4, myself.

You should never beg for new releases. The developer of the official GSI is doing this for free in their free time.

Having said that a new release was just released, yesterday, December 19, 2018 https://downloads.aospextended.com/treble_gsi

The developer of the GSI is @EnesSastim If you love his work (as I do), the best thing you can do is either contribute to the code. Or if you're not good at coding, you could always donate as everyone has got to eat and he is doing this in his free time of course.

That wasn't "begging for new releases." That was "this guy was made an official maintainer of AEX and put out a single build of it." Really must not be a very high bar to be made an "official maintainer".

I've been on Havoc for a while, which has more features and is far better on battery life. My device (LG V30) finally released Pie specific roms this month, which will always be better than GSI. Otherwise I'd build this myself (or Havoc).

new build for arm coming anytime soon? I personally don't want to stress you out aryan, so just let us know if you build one

Why is everyone rezzing dead threads? This hasn't been worked on since September.

Are there OTA updates or are they planned?

long time no upgrade for this rom,so...

So this gsi would use 8.1 boot images then? I'll give a try thanks

Should be fine, at least I've never had issues, except passing certification on setup, but it's easy to restore a backup now that we have perma-TWRP. Give it a shot, if you need help just shoot me a PM. I don't mind troubleshooting to help a fellow mata user. ?

WTF?! I'm German and that "Aryan" in a nickname is used and allowed here is quite shocking for me....
Really sad that political (racist) statements are allowed or at least tolerated on XDA.
Sei kein Trottel und informier dich bevor du hirnrissige Scheisse postest. Mich kotzt diese pseudo political correctness und diese aufgesetzte Empörung einfach an. Wenn du Paranoia hast, geh zum Arzt.

what a bad community universal android become

Because people keep asking "Does it boot on X device?"
I agree. Asking about specific devices just clogs the treble threads. People should just be willing to try flashing the GSI's themselves.
