Hello i want to download rom and see the instructions but the video tha the links provide is not visible on YouTube as also the link to download the rom!

Hello everyone!

I have a MeCool KM1 Deluxe with AmLogic A905X3 SoC, 4Gb ram and 32Gb storage.
The box is bootlopping into recovery mode after a sudden crash. MeCool support is useless as they wont give me the official .img flashfile to download. At MeCool website there's this zip file with an OTA update to Android 10 but the zip isn't flasheable, its just an packege with the required update files.
So I'm searching all over the net for an official firmware imagefile, even the prior android 9 that the box came with before the Android 10 update.
Since I cant find anything I'm now considering an alternative custom ROM for it and came across this post.
I'd like to know if any of these ROMs will work with it and what ROM is more appropriate for this box....

I've been looking for a solution for months now as MeCool support just stop replying me when I showed them that problem was not simple as wiping the box to system factory settings. They wont give me a flashimage file.
I'll try this image as soon as I get an USB-A to USB-A cable.

Do you know if there's any working armbian image for this box?
As this box is shelved for months while I was looking for a solution, I also considered repurposing it as home server for light aplications.

Hello everyone!

So I've successfully flashed Aidan's V9 ROM into a s912 android tv dongle (H96 pro). Everything works great except for the wifi / bluetooth. After opening the device's case, I found out that my wifi / bluetooth chip is a RTL8723BS.

After reading and searching the thread, I found few with same problem. I know Aidan has provided some ROMs with RTL wifi / bluetooth driver for S905 devices (e.g. [v8] Aidan's ROM [S905W] [ATV 9] (RT8723bs) (X96 Mini TX3 Mini X96W...).img)

But, since there's no ROM option for s912 with RTL drivers, does anyone know the simpliest way I can patch Aidan ROM's kernel with the RTL8723BS driver into a s912 device?

I have been testing this out with some S912 Boxes I have and am pretty happy with the performance of this ROM. I have multiple S912 Boxes that are the same on several TV's I uses with AirBnB rentals. I would like all these to be "Identical" in how they look, feel, and operate. This said, is there a way for me to Clone one of my S912 boxes to place that image on 5 other's without going through a full set up and app load on each of the boxes individually? This would also provide me with a restorable backup! Any thought would be greatly appreciated.
