Guys please advice me. I tryin to unlock HTC One M8. Updated to 1709. Both iutool gets me error. One version is HRESULT = 0x800b0114 and another one gets HRESULT = 0x8024a110. None of advice from 1st post didn't help. If i wait for few minutes the phone wont restart as well if i restart it by myself it wont enter into gears. Ive install acer spkg. Copy both ndtk dll into Documents folder on phone. But after i press step 2 button vcreg shuts down. So if i triyn to deploy nokia.executable_oemservicehost.generic.spkg and nokia.service_ndtksvc.generic.spkg i've got errors like i say. I don't understood how to interop my HTC phone.

you gotta do it few times before it reboots, also, I used PowerShell FYI

Yo, I did every step until right after the gears showed up. Then my phone stuck on showing the little windows 10 icon and it just won't load the UI.... I removed the battery and put it back in.. same thing...
So, I fixed it by removing the battery for 2 minutes while praying to God to bring my phone back to life
Then I proceeded in doing the final steps all with reboots but, even after the last reboot, after pressing below the checked "Live Interop/Capability Unlock” checkbox
nothing changed... While pressing Full filesystem Access in the interop app the switch keeps going to off no matter what????? the f is going on?

Anyone alive to help a random fellow??

If the vcreg app doesn't fc when you load it, it worked. Just enable live interop unlock and use interop tools.

It just doesn't work. Did every step, checked the box, hit apply.... It won't freakin work. Then I found out about WPTweaker... Installed it and it worked without a sweat.
Sad thing is, today I tried to redo the steps but after doing step 3 and rebooting, vcreg and WPtweaker won't open at all. RIP.

Idk whats happening. Maybe the problem is that I use the latest interop tools version that may be incompatible?

Edit: it might be of use to note that I managed to get vcreg to work only* after 1st opening the vcreg app and tapping option 1, then proceeding with the iutool command with PowerShell

Don't extract from phone the ndtk , connect to pc and copy to documents. To save massive issues ?

as per the blog have tried to install vcreg, run the iutool and deploy the acer spkg, restart the mobile, copied the 2 DLL files to the document folder of the phone thru the USB cable copy.

I am not sure what is going wrong...

Place the DLL files in Documents first. Open PowerShell on PC , plug phone and put the acerservices skpg in C:\acer

Run the command:

.\iutool.exe -v -p C:\acer

DLL files have been pasted from SDcard and itool has ran successfully, but vcREG still crashes while i click step 2. is the version the reason causes the problem? my 950 is 1709 now.

do u have any ways to back up my data from a locked 950? i 'm afraid that if i clear the data, i may not download apps from the store...downloading apps from Microsoft store seems unaviliable for me. there are always some strange problems when i try. Thank you for your advice!
