vcREG: lumia reg editor + interop unlock. Now Supports X50 device interop unlock

do u have any ways to back up my data from a locked 950? i 'm afraid that if i clear the data, i may not download apps from the store...downloading apps from Microsoft store seems unaviliable for me. there are always some strange problems when i try. Thank you for your advice!

Ok. No the way I would do it would be backup in wpinternals but u need unblocked bootloader. Maybe someone with more knowledge can answer.

Hello, i also ran into the problem that i cant come over step 2. I´ve installed the acer service thingi, saw the Gears, put the DLLs in the Documents Folder, but when i hit "Step 2" in the App it closes itself.

Same here, everything seemed to work well. iutool worked, phone rebooted etc. but when I open vcREG I still get the error message and the app just gets closed when hitting the "Step 2" button

I have a Lumia 950 and installed vcREG with the Phone poral. I also tried to start from beginning but the just get iutool error 0x80188302 which means the data is already on the device I assume.

Anyone could help?

SIMPLIFIED INTEROP UNLOCK FOR 950
not at all this complicated. forum regards 950 as non compatible with interop but... i realize lumia 950 has lost popularity. i recently acquired two ... and tried a couple days to unlock via these methods with no success. errors and things.
HERE IS THE BEST METHOD: update phone software via settings i am sure all understand access to settings acheived through selecting unlock via recovery key then LONG PRESS abc or caps key which was it.. for keyboard settings PRESS GEAR to enter settings. ENABLE DEVELOPER MODE search for developers in setting switch on developer mode enable pairing via wifi diagnostics enable and other option belower developer selection.
CLICK LEARN MORE# in developer window and edge opens up.
TYPE 127.0.0.1 in url and go
Have already transferred INTEROP to phone, didnt need dependencies
GO TO APPS select install appx , find INTEROP ( THIS DEVICE) click install
NOW AT TOP of page you will see installed apps menu, scroll to interop and click it, once interop is in this field CLICK RUN or START or whatever

ALMOSt done ... in interop go to applications, don't go to interop unlock or none of that disregard all other instructions
In applications find SETUP (NEUTRAL) run that
when prompted for windows account Skip, Warning you are choosing no to use windows reset lock SELECT OK.
Reboot phone .... it may auto reboot after setup

DONE! Unlocked LUMIA and added my microsoft account in settings afterwards!

It doesnt open and crashes. SetUp wont open, any suggestions?

is there a spelling mistake in "newndtkdsvc.dll" ?
Shouldn´t it be "newndtksvc.dll" without the second "d"?
