Hi,
I have just one question for debrand. I have vodafone rom (C02). I have to unlock bootloader, install twrp, root, change oeminfo and custom.bin, then stock recovery > dload firmware c432.
After this procedure, will I have bootlooder unlocked or locked? Will I receive OTA? App 'themes' working??
Thank you
locked and you can ota update

Anyone?
If you have a red warning message when I start up the device, you must unlock bootloader again. Than you will have orange warning message.
Surly if I have done all this with the view of debranding my phone and installing generic 432 firmware so i can get all the updates etc I should not have to root again.

Am I missing something or not completed the process?

This is effectively what i have done but now my themes don't work and I have the red warning message when I start the device about device being untrusted or unsafe.

Thanks

Will this wipe the phone again going from 432 to 136? How does this then put me back on 432?

Will this also get rid of this red warning I get on start up?

Sorry for all the questions
Yes it'll wipe it.
It's still the 432 Europe variant; the full version is EVA-L09C432B136. Once installed, you can then use the Update app to go to EVA-L09C432B166 (or above).
This will get rid of the red bootloader warning (it restores stock recovery) and get you on track for the upcoming Nougat beta build.

I've downloaded the file via the mega link and moved the file to dload. It does not say update.app or anything like that but instead is named something else. Is this correct or does it need changing or something?
Extract the dload-huawei-p9-eval09-eva-b136.zip and it'll have a dload with:
dt
hw
UPDATE.APP

The file downloaded via the mega link was something like 2.3gig but had a different name. No option to extract anything.
I'm a bit confused, sorry

It's named .getxfer.28384.0mega?

The MEGA link is fine here:
.

Just download that zip file and extract to sdcard. It'll contain a dload folder
OK I'll give that a go.

So when I have done this and got the phone back up and running I will them be able to get the latest updates which I assume is 182?

Will it just offer me this, I mean I don't need to download anything else and do the same process again.
