As the title says.
I flashed VegaBean (tried a few versions Beta 2.2, Beta3 and Test Beta 3-1)
When the ROM first booted there was a high pitched screaching noise, (this happened everytime the vega rebooted) then i noticed the sound was very distorted and sounded terrible, when the volume was above about a 3rd of the way to maximum.
So i removed the ROM and when back to VegaCream and the sound was the same so then went back to Vegacomb and yet again the sound is the same. So i have now just got back to the moddedstock Rom and the sound is still terrible! Have I managed to damage the speakers or has Vegabean somehow installed some software for the speakers that is causing this issue?
Would appreciate any help as this has made my Vega horrible to use, especially when the sound used to be so good, even at full volume.
Also tried Vegabean Beta 6 and exactly the same issues..... The sound is pants! Starting to give up hope
Update............. I've plugged in my headphones and tried my vega with those instead of the built in speakers and the sound was again distorted even through my headphones?? So i'm now back to thinking its a software issue rather than hardware Anyone else experienced anything like this??
My next option is to try MegaWipe to totally wipe my Vega and hope that removes the problem, my worry is it states that it deletes the Data, Cache, System and Preload partitions of your internal memory. So if it wipes the System and Preload partitions of your internal memory will this be a problem as i know the Vega has some sort of internal partition, thats why it's virtually impossible to be bricked?
Thanks for any help
